The flexibility of one early application for season-long fungicide benefits
By combining a highly systemic, fast-acting strobilurin with the longest-lasting triazole, FORTIX® Fungicide lets you spray once – whenever and however you want – for season-long fungicide benefits in corn and soybeans. FORTIX can be applied early, allowing growers the flexibility of applying via ground equipment. Whatever your application preference, FORTIX protects your investment, improves plant health and maximizes return on every acre with just one application. FORTIX is also the first foliar-applied product labeled for the suppression of Sudden Death Syndrome in soybeans.
Strong performance with FORTIX in 2015 On-Farm Trials
FORTIX’s flexible application window provides improved yields no matter the timing
FORTIX is excellent on strobilurin-resistant diseases
FORTIX IS FORTIX has been proven to help fight SDS in Soybeans
FORTIX is the first foliar-applied product labeled for the suppression of Sudden Death Syndrome in soybeans.
FORTIX reduces the growth rate of Fusarium virguliforme, allowing the plant a longer time to photosynthesize and produce yield prior to premature defoliation caused by the disease. FORTIX does not eliminate or prevent the spread of SDS.
- Average yield increase of 8.9 bu/A (when applied before or at R1 with SDS present)
- Apply early – at first flower (R1)
- Minimum to no benefit on SDS if applied after R1
- Use higher rate (at least 5 fl oz/A)

Improve your return on investment
Side-by-side comparisons of untreated versus FORTIX treated showed significant differences in disease control, height, ear size, pod counts and overall plant health.
One early season application
FORTIX is the only fungicide that can provide full-season fungicide benefits with just one, early application. And, because you can tank mix with your last herbicide application, it can cut down on trips through the field – saving time and money.
Application flexibility
Being able to apply earlier means now having the option of ground or aerial application, which provides greater flexibility with application timing and rates and potentially lowers input costs.
Fungicide yield increase
With FORTIX, you can expect an average yield increase of 7 to 14 bushels per acre for corn and 4+ bushels per acre for soybeans versus untreated acres.

DISEASES CONTROLLED | USE RATES (fl oz product/A) |
APPLICATION TIMING AND INFORMATION |
---|---|---|
Common rust Southern rust Anthracnose leaf blight Grey leaf spot Northern corn leaf blight Northern corn leaf spot Southern corn leaf spot Eye spot |
Labeled rate: 4-6 fl oz/A Recommended rate: 5 fl oz/A early; 4 fl oz/A later in season |
For optimum results, begin applications when disease first appears and continue as needed on a 7- to 10-day interval on field and seed corn. Use high end of the use rate with disease pressure is high and conditions are favorable for disease development. Apply no later than growth stage R4 (early dough stage). |
It’s time to think “One and Done”
Never before have corn and soybean growers had a fungicide that offered these yield-enhancing benefits, with so much flexibility. One application – however and whenever you want – and you’re done for the season.
