“As far as seeing any line-in-the-sand between corn I treated with FORTIX and crop that I treated later with Headline AMP, I can’t say that I saw that much difference. Half of my corn acres were treated with a fungicide and the whole farm averaged around 195 bushels per acre. The real difference, though, was that I put the FORTIX on myself with my crop sprayer and I had to have the Headline aerially applied; so there’s a cost savings there. That’s why I’m planning to only use the FORTIX next year.

I’ve never used FORTIX on soybeans, but I think I’ll try it on half my soybeans and half my corn this coming season. And if I can see a yield advantage this next year, I would definitely stick with FORTIX over Headline.”
